Potlatch crib quilt

495.00

Made of silk and cotton shirts, the colors of this quilt reminded me of this book I had as a child of artwork from the Pacific Northwest. The name, Potlatch, is a homage to an annual celebration of gift-giving held by the indigenous people living in what is now northwestern United States and southern Canada. The name seemed appropriate because, along with the color palette, this quilt was made for a charity auction at the Scandinavian School of New Jersey which raised money for scholarships for local kids.

A quilt like this is perfect for new parents or as a lap quilt.

Machine-warm cold and air dry for longest lifespan.

Approximately 36" x 48".
