Ekta Kaul is an award-winning artist celebrated for her captivating narrative maps, which explore the intricate ties between place, history, and belonging. Her work has been featured in notable collections, including the Museum of London and the Crafts Council, and has drawn attention from BBC Radio 4, Vogue, and the Financial Times.
Growing up immersed in India’s rich textile heritage, Ekta honed her skills at the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad and later earned her Master’s in Textiles in the UK. Ekta’s 2024 book, Kantha: Sustainable Textiles and Mindful Making, reflects her dedication to sustainable craft and mindful creation.
